Landtag of Schleswig-Holstein

The night I shot this picture [link] I also took pictures of this building (see [link] for what it is). I shot it from an angle, but it never seemed to work, due to perspective problems. Today, I decided to go there again and start a new attempt.

This time, I shot it straight from the front. There are a few things that I find quite interesting about this building:

• First, the contrast between the old part of the building (the red part) and the new part of the building (the blueish glass house). I took care to give the glass house part that blueish tint to set it apart from the warm colours of the building's main structure.


• Second, the differences between the left and right parts of the main structure.


• And third, the lighting of the glass house.

I hope the picture is as interesting to look at as the real thing is - I'm not too sure if I completely succeeded here. The main thing that bugs me is the perspective errors and a few details concerning the main structure's intense red colouring. Anyway, be your own judge.
