I was using my Canon 5D Mark II with the 24-105mm L at f/4.0 and about 70mm. Exposure time was 1/8000s at ISO 100. No tripod or anything. I really just framed it, set the focus, took the shot at aperture priority and was amazed how well it turned out once I reviewed it on the camera screen.
Hehe, thanks. Yeah, I continue to be impressed by the camera's dynamic range and the vividness of the colours you can get out of it. The Mark III looks very tempting, especially considering the excellent low-light performance and the massively improved AF. But considering what people are doing with the Mark II already, that one will serve me well enough for years to come.
